- The mesomorphe, an already muscled body, will need a total intake of calories sufficient to add bulk. As such, it may need an additional 200 kcal taken as follows : proteins 30% – carbohydrates 55% – lipids 15%
- The endomorphe, a chubby body type, won’t need additional calories, as it already has the extra weight. As such, it can take a total 200 kcal as follows : proteins 30% – carbohydrates 55% – lipids 15%
It’s also important to spread the calory intake throughout the day, so take meals or snacks every 3 or 4 hours.
Adapting your muscle building sessions
There’s no need to increase your training programme excessively. A session every two days is typically beneficial.
